         The procurement will cover Vy Tog AS"s need for blankets for travellers who have ordered the product PlussNatt (reclining chairs) or Hvile (bunk beds in 6-person compartments) on the Bergen Railway. Full occupancy means a maximum capacity requirement for approx. 36,000 usage units per year.

         Based on a climate and environmental assessment, Vygruppen has decided to procure blankets for reuse, rather than disposable blankets. The blankets must be washable and reusable. There is therefore a need to enter into a laundry agreement for reusable blankets.

         The contract is divided into two lots:

         1. Purchase of reusable blankets

         2. Laundry services

For each blanket offered, samples must be submitted in the tender phase for lot 1: Purchase of reusable blankets.           Clean blankets will be stored at the cleaner"s base in Oslo and in Bergen (dry storage). The cleaning tenderer distributes blankets daily to Hvile og PlussNatt areas and collects used blankets to be sent for washing.
