         Akasia Kirke og Gravplass AS (AKG) [the Akasia Church and Burial ground] shall, on behalf of Bergen kirkelige fellesråd (BKF) [Bergen Joint Church Council], enter into a framework agreement for the purchase of biodiesel HVO100 for Møllendal crematorium in Bergen.

         The contract will be valid from 01.01.2024 for 2 years, with an option for an extension for 1+1 year. The expected value of the framework agreement, including an option for extension, is approx. NOK 3,200,000 excluding VAT.

         Møllendal crematorium is Norway"s second largest crematorium with a total of approx. 2,500 cremations per annum. The number is increasing. The plant consists of two incinerators delivered in 2010 by Mitab. Both incinerators have an individual purification line. Up until now, the plant has used standard fuel oil, but after a conversion in autumn 2023, the plant has now changed to biodiesel HVO100.

         38,242 litres of heating oil were consumed at Møllendal crematorium in 2022. It is expected that the annual consumption of HVO100 will be approximately identical, and increase in cremations in the years to come. The estimated scope is non-binding for the contracting authority and represents no rights for the tenderer.
