      4. Short description:
         

         The objective of the procurement is to ensure access to health professionals when the municipalities’ own temporary staff are unable to cover the need. The contracting authority primarily wants Norwegian-speaking authorised nurses.

         Special and standard contract terms apply to this contract - see the annex. The procurement is for the provision of nursing and medical personnel, and complies with the public procurement regulations (PPR), part I and part II Special Services. The procurement procedure will be an open tender contest. A contract will be awarded in accordance with the open tender contest procedure, c.f. the PPR § 8-3.

         NOTE: The wrong procedure is given in Mercell MSS, "open tender contest", due to a lack of choice in procedures in the system. Mercell is working on a system for this in later versions.
