Description

The proposed contract requires Planting Contract Implementation of approximately 1.6 million seedlings on 49 harvested and wildfire impacted blocks comprised from 966.7 hectares. In the 100 Mile House TSA operating areas in the Kamloops Business Area.
The contract will require a range of qualified professionals and technical staff working in various conditions including isolated areas. Scope of contract includes, but not limited too, planting contract implementation, tracking of seedling quality, reefer monitoring, daily production tally, planting quality checks, regen plots, planting pay plots, production of pay certificates by block, re-establishing block and treatment unit boundaries that easily followed by planters, conduct block preworks with planting foremen to review potential safety hazards, request keys assigned, block seedling allocation and density, daily weather and seedling box temperature among other duties. Potential hourly work for Data base updates of planting numbers and mapping.
Contract deliverables will be planned for completion throughout the fiscal year to meet the business area quarterly targets. Projects will be completed concurrently as per the approved work progress plan and schedules.
