Signed Tenders are to be placed in a sealed envelope marked “Tender for City of Parksville, 5330-20-ALB26, Alberni Highway Pedestrian Improvements” and will be received at the office of
Koers & Associates Engineering Ltd. at 194 Memorial Avenue, Parksville, BC, up to 2:00:00 pm local time, on Thursday, April 9, 2026. The results of the opening will be emailed to Tenderers
following the opening. Any Tenders submitted after the date and time of closing will be returned to the tenderer unopened.
The Work involves the construction of pedestrian improvements in the City of Parksville, along Alberni Highway 4A, from Dunbar Way to Lee Avenue. The works include the construction of concrete
curb and sidewalk, granular base, grading, common excavation, lock block retaining wall, storm sewer mains, storm manholes and catch basins, sandbag headwalls, watermain, stripping, rock lined
ditching, swales, existing ditch infill, topsoil and hydroseeding, asphalt pavement restoration, pavement markings and signage, streetlights, junction boxes and conduits, RRFB traffic signals,
cash allowances, and related improvements within the project area.
