Description

The Contract is generally for the following work:

Closure of Phase 2A of the Armstrong-Spallumcheen Diversion & Disposal Facility by construction of a 600mm thick clay cap and related infrastructure, including:

• Excavation, relocation, and compaction of previously placed waste.
• Excavation, loading, hauling, and placing owner-supplied low permeability soil located on the project site.
• Installation of passive landfill gas collection piping and passive landfill gas venting system.
• Construction of a landfill access road. - Construction of surface water management infrastructure.
• A pre-bid visit by tenderers to the Place of the Work (3367 Powerhouse Road, Armstrong, BC) is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. local time on April 1, 2026. Representatives of the Owner and Engineer will be in attendance. All tenderers must attend this mandatory site visit. It is anticipated that answers to questions that are asked at the mandatory site visit will be answered through an Addendum.
