El día 12 de enero de 2023, entró en vigor el Real Decreto 3/2023 por el que se establecen los criterios técnico-sanitarios de la calidad del agua de consumo. Dado que la nueva normativa supone un incremento de acciones de control analítico y el establecimiento de nuevas herramientas para la gestión del riesgo, se hace necesaria la incorporación de nuevas acciones al objeto del contrato.
