Re-Advertisement: Quotations are hereby invited for the appointment of a service provider to maintain research infrastructure at client research sites around Phalaubeni Village (Giyani District, Limpopo). Scope of work: The specific work required is: 1. Cutting of shrubs and small trees within 9 experimental research plots located within the Mthimkhulu Game Reserve and in rangeland around Phalaubeni Village. These plots currently consist of 5 plots measuring 60m x 60m, and 2 plots measuring 120m x 120m but these may be expanded in the future; 2. Maintaining access roads to these plots, which requires cutting away branches that have grown over the roads, and filling in holes with sand and gravel (which can be sourced from designated areas at Phalaubeni); 3. Rehabilitation of eroded areas close to the access roads, which requires manual landscaping and brush-packing (brush can be sourced from designated areas around Phalaubeni).
