Scope of work: Job Evaluation and review of Job Profiles; and • Conduct all relevant consultation sessions with Management and required staff; • Document the process and share it with Management; • Review the existing profile of the staff concerned; • Evaluate jobs through the Paterson Grading System, once the job holder and line manager have confirmed the job profile; • Provide and present the final report of the evaluated position / Job Profile that correlates with the Paterson Model to the Job Evaluation Committee (JEC); and • Provide assistance and guidance to the JEC. Benchmark of the positions • Conduct the comparative study with other client, who are of similar size in terms of budget, scope coverage and staff complement; • Conduct a salary benchmarking exercise to determine client position in the market in respect of its current remuneration scale for the respective position/s. The benchmark should propose a market related pay scale/s for client as compared to other SETAs of similar size; • Determine the accurate Job Grade for the respective position/s using Paterson Job Grading System; • The benchmark process should include detailed elements of benefits of Total Cost to Company (TCTC) such as pension, group life cover, disability cover, housing allowance and medical aid; and • Present the outcomes of the benchmark to the JEC and propose the relevant Job Grade and remuneration package. .

Technical specifications: Transfer of 60 state-financed pre-1994 and RDP houses in Ashton, Bonnievale, Montagu and Robertson for a period of three years. 1. Attorneys’ responsibilities: The appointed attorney/firm will be responsible for handling the transfer process of 60 pre-1994 and RDP houses located in the towns of Ashton, Bonnievale, Montagu, and Robertson. Responsibilities include: 1.1. Compilation of transfer documentation for 60 properties: - Power of attorney, - Declaration by purchaser documentation (TD2), - Declaration by seller documentation (TD1 / deed of sale), - Title deeds, - Transfer duty and tax clearance certificates, - Communication with all relevant and affected parties, - Submission of transfer documents to correspondents for lodgement at the Deeds Office, - Monthly progress report confirming registered properties as of the last day of each month. 2. Municipality’s responsibilities: The Municipality’s Housing Section will be responsible for: 2.1. Signing and provision of documents: - Signing of deed of sale contracts, - Signing of declaration by purchaser (TD2), - Provision of identity and marital status documentation of purchasers, - Provision of tax clearance and valuation certificates. 2.2 Financial Responsibilities: • The Municipality will cover the transfer cost, up to a maximum of R3500.00 per contract, upon: - Successful registration of the property in the name of the purchaser(s), - Submission of a valid invoice on a monthly basis. .
