II.2.4)Description of the procurement at the time of conclusion of the contract:

O contrato tem por objeto a contratação de uma aquisição de serviços para a elaboração do projeto de execução do "Reforço do Abastecimento de Água ao Algarve - Solução da Tomada de Água no Pomarão", através do qual será estudado o conjunto de obras a realizar, as quais consistirão na execução de uma captação de água no rio Guadiana, na sua zona estuarina, junto à margem direita perto da povoação de Mesquita, praticamente em frente ao Pomarão e a montante da confluência do rio Chança. A partir desta captação desenvolver-se-á uma tubagem adutora que irá transportar a água captada até à albufeira da barragem de Odeleite. O traçado da conduta será essencialmente feito ao longo da Estrada Nacional 122 (IC 27), num percurso com cerca de 36 km de extensão. O volume de água a captar poderá ser, no mínimo, de cerca de 30 hm3/ano, com uma capacidade instalada de bombagem de 1+1 m3/s.

No decorrer da fase de Estudo Prévio, atendendo ao nível de detalhe escrutinado e às consequentes soluções estabelecidas, verificou-se a necessidade de adaptar os trabalhos auxiliares previstos na Proposta, especificamente os trabalhos de Levantamentos Topográficos, Topobatimétricos, Cadastrais e de Prospeção Geológico-Geotécnicos, face aos trabalhos auxiliares necessários à adequada prossecução das fases seguintes do Projeto.Tornou-se igualmente necessário efetuar a revisão do Estudo Hidrológico e de Salinidade, contemplando todos os cenários e as situações relevantes apontadas pelas entidades envolvidas na análise do Projeto.
