The power industry must accommodate for the green transition by finding tools and methods that transform the way we execute power system analyses. Extracting data from power system models, modeled according to the Common Information Model (CIM) standards (IEC 61970,61968,62325) is an integral part of the analysis work but require graph queries that are too complex for most power system engineers to formulate correctly. Inspired by Chat-GTP, our vision is a future where power system engineers get trustworthy and explainable answers from a system that can be queried using natural language. The purpose of this R&D work is to accelerate the speed at which the industry moves towards this vision.
