Trøndelag County, c/o the County Dentist, needs to enter into framework agreements with private dental clinics in the municipalities of Grong, Steinkjer, Frosta, Levanger, Stjørdal, Trondheim, Frøya, Hitra and Malvik. Trøndelag County currently does not have sufficient capacity to cover the need for a new service for dental treatment for persons aged 21 to 24 years.

The contract period is 1.5 years, with an option for 1 year extension.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

The Norwegian Government has established a service for dental treatment of 21- and 24-year-olds with 25 percent cost-sharing, based on the Ministry of Health and Care Services" rates for dental treatment. In some municipalities the county does not currently have sufficient capacity to meet the requirement for the new dental service for 21- and 24-year-olds. There is an ongoing work to expand existing services in the county. However, there is uncertainty as to how long this may take and whether it is even possible to establish a service that covers 100% of the need in these municipalities in relation to the new dental health service. Trøndelag County would therefore like enter into framework agreements with private dental clinics in the municipalities of Grong, Steinkjer, Frosta, Levanger, Stjørdal, Trondheim, Frøya, Hitra and Malvik so that these can cover the lack of capacity the county dental clinics have for dental services for 21- and 24-year-olds until the end of 2022.
