         Das Ausschreibungsprojekt umfasst die Lieferung von ca. 700 WLAN Access-Points, 58 Access-Switchen und optionalen Dienstleistungen.

         Eine produktspezifische Ausschreibung ist wegen der bereits vorhandenen Netzwerkkomponenten (Core- und Access-Switchen, WLAN-Komponenten und ein Systemmanagement) des Herstellers Extreme-Network sachlich gerechtfertigt. Neben einer homogenen Systemstruktur ist die volle und durchgängige Integration der ausgeschrieben Netzwerkkomponenten in das vorhandene Systemmanagement nur mit Komponenten des genannten Herstellers gegeben. Weiter ist die Vermischung verschiedener Netzwerkprodukte und die damit verbundene Zuordnung von Fehlerquellen und Gewährleistungen problematisch und muss vermieden werden.

         Vor diesem Hintergrund wird an der "Ein-Hersteller-Strategie" festgehalten, um auch weiterhin diese homogene Systemlandschaft zu gewährleisten.
