         en 2017, la commune de TOULON a décidé de confier à la saem var amenagement developpement la concession d"aménagement pour le renouvellement urbain de son centre-ville. Cette opération a pour objet la mise en oeuvre de la politique de renouvellement urbain définie par la Commune pour renforcer son pôle de centralité. Le programme de la concession intègre les missions de mise en oeuvre du projet urbain de la Ville concernant notamment les opérations de développement économique, de restructuration commerciale, les opérations de restructuration d"ilots dégradés, les opérations d"amélioration du parc de logement privé, et les opérations d"aménagement urbain. Parmi les missions principales de var amenagement developpement, sont prévus l"organisation et le développement du secteur de Castel Chabre et de l"ancien Évêché notamment par l"implantation d"activités privées à vocation économique, tertiaire, de formation, de service et commerciale.
