         La boucle d’essai HERMES P fait partie de la plateforme POSEIDON. Elle alimente à des débits, pressions et températures spécifiés une section d’essai équipée d’un dispositif expérimental instrumenté. La conduite se fait par une équipe dédiée à partir du contrôle commande en salle de conduite.

         La boucle se compose des éléments suivants :

         - un circuit principal à eau pressurisée qui sera finement modélisé, dont le rôle est de contenir et de véhiculer le fluide primaire ;

         - un circuit de refroidissement secondaire ;

         - un réseau d’alimentation de la boucle en azote ;

         - un réseau d’air comprimé ;

         - un système d’alimentation électrique et de pilotage de l’installation.

         Le circuit principal fonctionne en boucle fermée, il est conçu pour atteindre les conditions d’un REP en pression et température (155 bar et 300 °C).

         L’objectif du simulateur de l’installation HP est de former les futurs pilotes à la conduite de la boucle. Le simulateur devra reprendre l’architecture du contrôle commande avec des vues identiques aux écrans présents en salle de conduite.

         L’architecture du simulateur devra être évolutive pour permettre de prendre en compte de nouveaux circuits ou de nouvelles modélisations.
