Description

The purpose of this RFP is to engage a structural engineering consultant to support VCC’s Broadway Campus Policy Statement and rezoning process. The consultant will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide structural feasibility analysis and strategic input from early planning through rezoning approval, ensuring integration with campus massing, phasing, sustainability, and design strategies. Services include high-level feasibility reviews, opportunities and constraints analysis, development and refinement of structural system strategies aligned with proposed building typologies, and input to Green and Resilient Building Measures, including the Embodied Carbon Design Report. The consultant will support City of Vancouver submissions, attend meetings and public hearings as required, and collaborate with VCC and the consultant team to address both current and long-term campus needs.
