Description

City of Prince George (the “City”) has acquired aerial photography in previous years and endeavors to update its information approximately every three to four years. The most recent capture was done in 2023 and included digital aerial imagery at 0.10 m as well as LiDAR data capture at 10 ppm2. The project area (575 km2) includes the Prince George boundary and a 2 km buffer.

The City uses ESRI ArcGIS suite of software products in the delivery of its Geographic Information System.
This RFP seeks to acquire digital colour aerial photography, digital colour ortho photography and an aerial LiDAR survey to produce a digital elevation model (DEM) of the area defined by the boundary of Prince George, including a buffer area of approximately two kilometers.
