Description

Project DescriptionIn 2021, the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) investigated the emergency distribution and the capacity and redundancy of the electrical systems for the Children’s and Women’s Hospital (CW) 1982 building, Ambulatory Care Building (ACB) and Shaughnessy (SHY) buildings located at 4500 Oak St., Vancouver, BC. The studies and assessments informed a phased approach to addressing issues with the electrical distribution system, including addressing a lack of generator redundancy and emergency power capacity, and simplifying a complex distribution system.

Construction Management:

Only Construction Management firms prequalified by the Authority for Acute Care Projects >5M or Non- Acute Projects >$5M may respond to this RFP. The Authority will not consider a Proposal from a firm not already prequalified for Acute Care Projects >5M or Non-Acute Projects >$5M.

The Authority has arranged a site visit for the benefit of interested Proponents who are preparing Proposals. The date and time of site visit(s) are as noted below:
