        The European Parliament has decided to launch this invitation to tender with a view to entering into a direct contract for the provision of catering services, at the ‘Les Cigognes’ family room during the plenary sessions of the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

        The object of the contract is the implementation of an operational system in order to carry out, every day that the family room is open, and in an optimal manner, all the services described in the field of catering and management of the kitchen, including:

        — provide a healthy and balanced diet to all children and staff present in the family room, respecting nutritional recommendations for early childhood and complying with HACCP (hazard analysis critical control point) standards;

        — maintain the family room"s kitchen in an irreproachable state of cleanliness and hygiene.
