De aanleiding voor het aanbesteden is het terugkerende karakter van de werkzaamheden/opdracht. Het is de eerste keer dat de gemeente deze opdracht op de markt zet. Tot op heden werden deze werkzaamheden in eigen beheer uitgevoerd. De gemeente is op zoek naar een betrokken partij om voor langere periode een samenwerking mee aan te gaan.

         De opdracht wordt opgedeeld in twee percelen. De percelen kennen een logische verdeling die aansluit op de interne inrichting van de gemeente. Tevens is er bij de verdeling van de percelen rekening gehouden met de omvang van het te onderhouden gebied in relatie tot de positie van het MKB.
