Pursuant to FAR subpart 13.5, in accordance with 41 U.S.C. § 1901, the Government anticipates entering into sole-source procurement negotiations with Press Ganey Associates Inc. (“Press Ganey”) to provide the following services:
Press Ganey’s National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators (NDNQI) quality measure reporting software.
The Nursing and Patient Care Service Line at the Ralph H. Johnson VA requires the utilization of Press Ganey’s National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators (NDNQI) quality measure reporting software to advance the organization to improving patient outcomes through comprehensive nursing quality measurement, including evidence-based measures, nurse surveys, reporting capabilities, and performance improvement resources. NDNQI is used within VHA and private hospitals to reduce hospital required conditions, improve practice environment, and promote safe high quality patient care.
The above-cited authority and associated justification is made based on the determination that Government’s requirements for this contract can only be satisfied by one source with unique capabilities. Any other business or person may identify their interest and capability in fulfilling this requirement by responding to this Notice by e-mail to jeremy.calligan@va.gov no later than 12:00 p.m. local time, Thursday, October 26, 2023. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals; however, all communications received by the deadline will be considered by the Government. Information received as a result of this Notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation document is available at this time.
