Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

The UK Army requires a ‘Close Quarter Battle’ (CQB) sighting system that can be used on the L7A2 General Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG) to enable the Operator to view and engage targets in CQB scenarios with the weapon. This Capability will be brought into service through the Support Weapons Enhanced Sighting System (SWESS) Light-‘CQB’-Sight Project.

This Framework Agreement will include Costed Options for additional Purchases of CQB"s and through life support for the duration of the agreement.

As stated within the PIN this is a First Opportunity for New and Existing suppliers to tender their products for inclusion within the Existing SWESS Frameworks

Information about subcontracting
