Description of the goods or services required

The purpose of the regeneration scheme underway within Swansea Council is to carry out works to upgrade Thermal Value to 42nr. Council owned properties at Sketty Park. Properties within regeneration scheme are tenanted 2/3 Bed semi-detached Properties, 2 storey Flats and 1 block of 4 storey flats. External Wall fabric is Traditional Cavity Wall Construction made up of an internal Blockwork Skin, 50mm Cavity and a pebble dashed Blockwork / brickwork external façade. To comply with the current WHQS, works will include the application of insulated render system, re-roofing and other works as detailed in this specification. Site visits may be arranged to assist with the detail required for tendering. Ascertain the nature of the site, access there to and all local conditions and restrictions and availability of resources likely to affect the execution of the Works.

Minimum standards and qualification required

All materials are to be new and the best of their respective kinds and must comply with any current relevant British Standard Specification. Materials and workmanship employed are subject to the approval of the Project Manager. All manufacturers’ guarantees are to apply in full on all materials fitted.

3. Responding to the invitation to tender:
