Det skulle medföra risk för stora trafikstörande driftsproblem vid ett byte av leverantör. Då leverantören har ensamrätt för de nödvändiga tjänsterna kan ingen annan leverantör tillfrågas och systemets beräknade kvarstående livslängd är betydande vilket medför att ett systembyte skulle medföra en betydligt större kostnad än att behålla dagens system.
