Insatsen Korttidsvistelse i form av korttidshem är en insats enligt lagen om stöd och service till vissa funktionshindrade, LSS 9 § 6.

Korttidsvistelse erbjuds i en hemlik miljö för barn och ungdomar (0–21 år) och beviljas med antal dygn per fyra veckors period. Insatsen ska ge den enskilde fysisk, psykisk och social stimulans, rekreation och miljöombyte samt erbjuda en avkopplande och aktiv fritid i trygg miljö med goda vuxenförebilder.

Verksamheten ska finnas inom en radie om 20 mil från Uppsala.
