    El objeto del contrato es la prestación del servicio de vigilancia de seguridad (sin armas) y personal auxiliar de servicios a contratar para los eventos, actividades y dispositivos de emergencia que se llevan a cabo en la ciudad de Girona anualmente, dado que el Ayuntamiento de Girona no dispone de los medios internos necesarios para la ejecución del servicio requerido en el presente pliego.
    
    Los eventos antes mencionados que motivan la contratación de estos servicios son conciertos y otros espectáculos públicos musicales, carreras y otras pruebas deportivas, cabalgatas de reyes, desfiles, rúas, pasacalles y otros actos de tipo similar.
    
    Este contrato también incluye el servicio de vigilancia y seguridad (sin arma) de diversos equipamientos municipales de la ciudad de Girona, el control de sus accesos, de bienes muebles, inmuebles, así como de las personas que se encuentren en su interior. Ver apartado 1 del Anexo I del PCAP.
