VII.2)Information about modifications
VII.2.1)Description of the modifications
Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):

Iniciada la ejecución del contrato se considera necesario realizar las siguientes modificaciones en la prestación del servicio:

o Incorporación prevista en contrato de 5.000 cajas de crecimiento en el periodo de prórroga

o Custodia de las anteriores.

o Incremento del coste de la retirada final por aumento del número de cajas, ya que el traslado final se estima en 44.598 cajas, frente a las 39.598 cajas previstas a la finalización del plazo de ejecución del contrato en vigor.

Need for additional works, services or supplies by the original contractor/concessionaire (Art. 43(1)(b) of Directive 2014/23/EU, Art. 72(1)(b) of Directive 2014/24/EU, Art. 89(1)(b) of Directive 2014/25/EU)
Description of the economic or technical reasons and the inconvenience or duplication of cost preventing a change of contractor:

Habiendo sufrido un retraso y posteriormente la paralización de las obras de remodelación del Archivo Central, y dado que se mantienen las mismas necesidades que motivaron la contratación del servicio, próximo a finalizar el plazo inicial del mismo es necesario proceder a la prórroga del contrato por un periodo de 24 meses, que conlleva también la modificación del mismo.
