         El objeto del Lote 1 es la contratación de los servicios para el desarrollo de un estudio genético para conocer las subpoblaciones de origen de los individuos de tortuga laúd (Dermochelys coriacea) que utilizan las aguas jurisdiccionales españolas, así como el seguimiento remoto de 4 ejemplares para determinar los patrones de distribución y el uso del hábitat de la especie en nuestras aguas. La información obtenida mejorará el conocimiento acerca de los patrones de migración, distribución, comportamiento reproductivo, y la conectividad entre las diferentes poblaciones e individuos de esta especie, lo que permitirá realizar una identificación de áreas prioritarias para la conservación de la especie y proponer medidas de gestión para mejorar su estado de conservación, en el marco del proyecto LIFE IP-PAF INTEMARES (LIFE15 IPE ES 012), “Gestión integrada, innovadora y participativa de la Red Natura 2000 en el medio marino español”.
