Bids are hereby invited for the following: Hopefield: New beginnings broiler chickens: New solar installations. Scope of Works: New Beginnings Broiler chickens requires a solar system that will be integrated with the existing electricity supply aiming to reduce operational cost and to have independence during load-shedding. The proposed solar PV will have a size of 16KW which was calculated based on operational loads recorded over 7 days. The system will be roof-mounted on the existing building roof (roof layout attached) and will have a 60kWh 1c Lithium-ion back-up batteries which will provide at least 12 hours discharge time or autonomy. The system shall include complete system components such as inverters, DB, wiring and solar system protection. The works, as described, is situated in the Hopefield District. The successful bidder must have the capacity to start the works within 7 (seven) days of appointment. The completion period of this service is (Four) 4 Months starting from the day of appointment. Specifications: The UN Procurement Division is seeking expressions of interest from qualified manufacturers or their authorized distributor for the supply and delivery of Rapid Intervention Vehicles (RIV) of the following categories: For aircraft rescue intended to meet ICAO"s Aerodrome Category 3 and Category 5 requirements, and trailer-mounted Compressed Air Foam System (CAFS) for RIV Category 3, including the provision of spare parts and ancillary services to the United Nations Field Missions in the Middle East, the Balkans, Africa, the Caribbean and Europe. Vendors may supply any or all of the categories of the required RIVs. The UN expects the successful vendor to supply brand new RIVs and CAFS, including after-sales support services (e.g. spare parts, warranty, tools, training, etc.) throughout the whole life cycle of the vehicles.
