Specifications: The UN Procurement Division is seeking expressions of interest from qualified manufacturers or their authorized distributor for the supply and delivery of Rapid Intervention Vehicles (RIV) of the following categories: For aircraft rescue intended to meet ICAO"s Aerodrome Category 3 and Category 5+ requirements, and trailer-mounted Compressed Air Foam System (CAFS) for RIV Category 3, including the provision of spare parts and ancillary services to the United Nations Field Missions in the Middle East, the Balkans, Africa, the Caribbean and Europe. Vendors may supply any or all of the categories of the required RIVs. The UN expects the successful vendor to supply brand new RIVs and CAFS, including after-sales support services (e.g. spare parts, warranty, tools, training, etc.) throughout the whole life cycle of the vehicles. The resulting contract(s) will be on "as and when" required basis and will be for an initial period of three (3) years with option to extend at the UN"s discretion for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each.
