VII.2.1)Description of the modifications

Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):

Pogodba je sklenjena za izvedbo inšpekcij nukleranega goriva med rednimi remonti. Zaradi prosilne zaustavitve elektrarne (in prisotnega puščanja na enem gorivnem elementu) je bilo potrebno opraviti nujne inšpekcije nuklearnega goriva pred ponovno polnitvijo reaktorja. Potrebno je bilo tudi angažirati FOSAR opremo in izvajalce, zaradi možne prisotnosti tujkov v gorivnih elemntih, ki bi jih bilo potrebo odstraniti.

Need for additional works, services or supplies by the original contractor/concessionaire (Art. 43(1)(b) of Directive 2014/23/EU, Art. 72(1)(b) of Directive 2014/24/EU, Art. 89(1)(b) of Directive 2014/25/EU)

Description of the economic or technical reasons and the inconvenience or duplication of cost preventing a change of contractor:

Pogodba pred spremembo zajema izvedbo podvodne vizualne inspekcije nuklearnega goriva za remonte 24, 25, 27 in 28. Zaradi prisilne zaustavitve elektrarne (in prisotnega puščanja na enem gorivnem elementu) je bilo potrebno opraviti podobne inšpekcije kot med rednim remontom, le v zamanjšanem (nujnem) obsegu, ter angažirati FOSAR opremo in ekipo zaradi možne prisotnosti tujkov v gorivnih elementih.

Westinghouse Electric Company je pogodbeni izvajalec in dobavitelj jedrskega goriva za NEK (Contract for Nuclear Fuel Fabrication and Associated Services). Po tej pogodbi Westinghouse izvaja tudi garancijske inšpekcije na jedrskem gorivu za NEK. Je tudi konstruktor gorivnih elementov za NEK in ima tudi razpoložljiva specifična znanja ter certificirano opremo, da izvede tovstne inšpekcije.
