Geophysical Survey, 3D UHRS
The Tender Procedure covers purchases of Geophysical Survey, 3D UHRS, for he Baltica 2 Offshore Wind Farm and as a option Baltica 3 Offshore Wind Farm projects:
Lot 1:
• Name: Baltica 02 Offshore Wind Farm (“BAL02")
• Contracting Entity: Elektrownia Wiatrowa Baltica 2 SP Z O.O
• Location: Baltic Sea
• Scope (“Scope of Services”): The Lot 1 campaign will be a 3D-UHRS survey of locations deemed high risk for sub-surface boulders, focusing on the Baltica 02 (BAL02) site. The scope will therefore be comprised of between 70 and 125 cubes (50 x 50m box areas of interest) centered on targeted Wind Turbine Gen-erators (WTG) and Offshore Substation (OSS) planned locations across the BAL02 site.
Lot 2:
• Name: Baltica 03 Offshore Wind Farm (“BAL03")
• Contracting Entity: Elektrownia Wiatrowa Baltica 3 SP Z O.O
• Location: Baltic Sea
• Scope (“Scope of Services”): The Lot 2 campaign will be a 3D-UHRS survey of locations deemed high risk for sub-surface boulders, focusing on the Baltica 03 (BAL03) site. The scope will therefore be comprised of between 40 and 85 cubes (50 x 50m box areas of interest) centered on targeted WTG and OSS planned locations across the BAL03 site.
For both lots, the objective of the survey will be the acquisition, processing and interpretation of MBES and
3D-UHRS data in order to meet the following objectives/deliverables:
Multi-beam echo sounder (MBES)
Object detection sufficient for objects of 0.5m and greater
Full coverage for the 3D-UHRS far offset track plot and coverage assess-ment. Coverage should therefore be sufficient to cover the required acquisi-tional footprint, not just the required areas of interest.
Provide quality control of tidal corrections / final datum reductions
3D Multi-channel Ultra-high resolution seismic (3D-UHRS)
Fully imaged 3D UHRS cube for each of the WTG/OSS box areas.
Detection of subsurface boulders larger than 1.0 meter based on minimum fold coverage down to 50 meters below seabed (bsb).
Detection and positioning in x-y-z of point diffractors within the areas of in-terest.
Dimensioning of subsurface boulders on a priority basis.
