The procurement will ensure that the Norwegian Defence"s personnel who serve on the Norwegian Defence"s vessels fulfil civilian requirements in accordance with the STCW convention.

The course portfolio must fulfil national and international requirements for certified maritime courses in accordance with the IMO, SOLAS, and the ISM code, and as required by the STCW convention. STCW courses must be held in accordance with the current valid Theme Plan published on the Norwegian Maritime Directorate"s homepage. The course provider must be approved by the Norwegian Maritime Directorate, and must have approval from the Norwegian Maritime Directorate for all of their offered courses.

Tenderers can submit a tender for parts of the requested course portfolio.

Other requirements for the contest are in accordance with the tender documentation.

The total value the procurement for the combined contracts has a maximum upper limit of NOK 50,000,000.

In the announcement of the results of the contest, the same amount is stated as NOK 8,333,333 per tenderer.

The needs of the Norwegian Armed Forces for diverse courses at various locations will vary greatly, and it is unlikely that the amount per tenderer will be NOK 8,333,333. Some tenderers will have greater turnover and others less. The maximum total sum shall not exceed NOK 50,000,000.
