         The national authorities have requested that Tromsø Municipality houses 580 refugees

         in 2023, primarily refugees from Ukraine. This is a provisional number, and the municipality

         has also been asked to be prepared that the number can change during

         the year.

         How the situation in Ukraine will develop is uncertain. The same applies to how

         many refugees will come to Norway due to the war, and when it will be possible

         for them to return. It is important for Tromsø Municipality that it can make arrangements so that

         persons who have been driven from their own country can live a full and good life whilst

         they are in Norway. It is therefore important that Tromsø Municipality can, in an efficient way,

         provide a sufficient number of houses for the need.

         Tromsø Municipality would therefore like to establish a DPS for the hire and procurement of module buildings.

         There will be a need for everything from 2 room module buildings to 5 room module buildings.
