         Bergen Municipality, c/o the Department for Buildings and Properties, hereby invites tenderers to an open tender contest for a framework agreement for the hire of scaffolding. The purpose of the tender contest is to enter into a framework agreement with one tenderer.

         The contractis primarily meant to cover the requirement for the best possible maintenance of the municipal buildings administered by the Building and Property Department.

         The Agency for Buildings and Property manages, runs, maintains, and develops the municipality"s properties. The property mass consists of more than 1000 buildings of approx. 1.2 million m2 and 5000 vacant properties. Nearly 60 percent of the buildings are schools, nurseries, and nursing homes. The rest include office buildings, port buildings, fire stations, car parks, and sports halls.

         The procurement consists of the following:

         - Hire of scaffolding 

         - Assembly of scaffolding 

         - Disassembly of scaffolding

         - Relocating scaffolding

         - Rebuilding scaffolding

         - Inspections and repairs of hired scaffolding 

         The above list is not exhaustive, and work that naturally falls under the framework agreement is also included.

         All implemented works/assignments must be executed continuously unless other agreements are made with Bergen Municipality, c/o the Department for Buildings and properties.

         The framework agreement primarily applies to the hire of scaffolding for assignments executed by the employees of Bergen Municipality. Scaffolding work where several professional areas and other suppliers under the framework agreement are involved shall also be included in the framework agreement.
