         A framework agreement will be signed with up to 5 tenderers of RIB.

         Each tenderer must present documentation in the contest for 3 consultants for RIB, cf. point 5.2.2 below.

         The aim of the framework agreement is to ensure that the contracting authority has access throughout the entire contract period to assistance from RIB with relevant competence to cover the contracting authority"s ongoing need for RIB services.

         The framework agreement is meant to cover review work, engineering design services, and other consultancy assignments, including independent inspection assignments. The assignments can also include engineering design group management and any coordination assignments for other consultants for relevant assignments. The contracting authority"s projects vary in nature, size, cost, duration and degree of difficulty, and require resources and a team with overall competence. Unless otherwise agreed for the relevant assignment, the assignment must be carried out in accordance with the attached guidelines from the Consultant Engineers Association (annex 01_00).
