Oslo University Hospital Trust intends to procure a complete endoscopy rack that gives full 4K, possibility for 3D, and with ICG functionality (ICG) for the Paediatric Surgery Section at Rikshospitalet. The endoscopy rack will be used for laparoscopic/thoracoscopic interventions with the help of mini-invasive techniques in children from newborn age to 18 years.

The clinic environment considers that a combined use of 5mm ICG optics and 10mm 4K 3D video laparoscopy is what is best suited for the above-mentioned surgery on this patient group.

Only Karl Storz Endoskopi Norge AS can deliver the above-mentioned endoscopy rack with this functionality.

Oslo University Hospital Trust intends to procure a complete endoscopy rack that gives full 4K, possibility for 3D, and with ICG functionality (ICG) for the Paediatric Surgery Section at Rikshospitalet. The endoscopy rack will be used for laparoscopic/thoracoscopic interventions with the help of mini-invasive techniques in children from newborn age to 18 years.

The Paediatric Surgery Section at Rikshospitalet, OUS, is the only centre in Scandinavia that operates on newborns with oesophagi atresia and congenital diaphragm hernia. There are strict requirements for solution for carrying out these interventions in a safe way and to avoid serious complications, such as bleeding and weakness in joints. The clinic environment considers that a combined use of 5mm ICG optics and 10mm 4K 3D video laparoscopy is what is best suited for this type of surgery on this patient group

Only Karl Storz Endoskopi Norge AS can deliver the above-mentioned endoscopy rack with this functionality.
