         The procurement concerns the purchase of patient travel by road. Patient transport by road is a facilitated transport where the patients, according to applicable legislation, have the right to have their expenses covered for transport to and from treatment.

         The contracting authority is not obligated to purchase a specific quantity of patient transport, and reserves the right for variations in the contract quantity.

         The contracting authority aims to facilitate increased coordination within the contract, including measures to establish fixed routes and coordinated patient travel across municipal borders and tender areas.

         The contracting authority also reserves the right to outsource new transport systems.
