II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

Bergen Hospital Trust intends to enter into an agreement with Eviny Termo AS for the supply of district heating for heating rooms and hot tap water. The district heating will mainly be supplied to Haukeland University Hospital, and a smaller volume will be supplied to other buildings in Bergen owned by Bergen Hospital Trust. The expected net annual consumption of heat including tap water is approx. 37 GWh, with an estimated peak power output of 12 MW. The contract will be valid for three years, with an option to extend the licence period. The estimated value of the contract including options is NOK 561,600,000. The maximum value of the contract is NOK 730,000,000.

Eviny Termo AS has a licence for district heating in Bergen and surrounding areas. Bergen Hospital Trust has not succeeded in finding other tenderers that can supply the service. The contract is therefore exempt from a contest as competition is not possible due to the tenderer having exclusive rights to the delivery, cf. the Public Procurement Regulations § 13-4 (b) 3).

Any appeals to the commencement of the contract are requested to be sent via Mercell by the deadline: 05.10.2023 at 12:00.
