This contest is being held by the Norwegian Hospital Procurement Trust on behalf of Stavanger Hospital Trust. Stavanger Hospital Trust intends to enter into a contract with Medicine AS for the procurement of transport ventilators and MRI compatible transport ventilators.

Market surveys show that they are the only supplier that can deliver equipment in accordance with the need. They are the only supplier that can fulfil the need in accordance with several absolute minimum requirements. The procurement is being made as a direct procurement due to technical reasons in accordance with the public procurement regulations, § 13-4, first paragraph, letter b no. 2.

If the contracting authority does not receive any objections regarding this voluntary ex-ante transparency notice, the contract will be sent for electronic signing after the waiting period has expired. The waiting period expires 10 days from the day after the voluntary ex-ante transparency notice has been published.

Options will be entered into for service, a service course, and the procurement of additional equipment/accessories. A framework agreement will also be entered into for equipment-dependent consumables.

The contracting authority"s market surveys show that Medicine AS is the only supplier that can deliver equipment in accordance with the need and several absolute minimum requirements. They are the only supplier that can deliver both transport ventilators for normal transport and MRI compatible transport ventilators in accordance with the maximum weight requirement. Furthermore there must be the same user interface, connections between both types, and identical consumables. The procurement is being made as a direct procurement due to technical reasons in accordance with the public procurement regulations, § 13-4, first paragraph, letter b no. 2.
