Fernside and Splash Alley Bridge Replacement (Новая Зеландия - Тендер #68699042)

The Atiwhakatu track forms part of the Mt Holdsworth Loop which is the most popular overnight walk within the Wairarapa. This track caters to families, school groups and other trampers.

The purpose of this procurement is to build and replace two glue laminated timber pedestrian bridges on the Holdsworth loop - Atiwhakatu Track (Tech Objects 200051087 - 200051179). The work required includes:

• Dismantle and removal of the old bridges.
• Construction of the replacement Glulam bridges.
• Construction of foundations and abutments.
• Installation of the replacement Glulam bridges.
• Minor track surfacing work in the vicinity of the bridge approaches on both sides of the bridge (if required).

A mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held with the Department. The purpose of this briefing is to discuss the Department’s requirements and provide a forum for questions and answers. Should a tenderer not attend the meeting then its tender will be deemed non-conforming.
