26-033 Community Housing Provider for Housing for the Elderly (Новая Зеландия - Тендер #68699041)

What We Need
New Plymouth District Council requires a Community Housing Provider (CHP) for the lease and management of Council’s 12 new housing units that are currently under construction at 52 Wynyard Street in Bell Block. Lease arrangements between NPDC and the CHP is contingent on the CHP negotiating an agreement with Ministry of Housing and Urban Development for the new units to be leased as public housing prior to the units being ready for tenants.
What Is Important To Us
When selecting a Community Housing Provider (CHP), the Council will prioritise the following:
• The successful CHP must hold current registration with the Community Housing Regulatory Authority (CHRA).
• Demonstrated experience in contracting with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is essential, and demonstrated experience delivering public housing services to older people will be an advantage.
• We are seeking a long-term, collaborative relationship built on trust, transparency, and shared values.
• The chosen provider must be able to align with the Council’s strategic priorities, show a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality housing services tailored to the needs of older people, and be amenable to delivering service within the parameters of NPDC’s Housing for the Elderly policy.
