         Living Lab Scheveningen werkt al enkele jaren aan het onderwerp van slimme energienetten en bouwt op het Noordelijk Havenhoofd een eigen slim netwerk. Verschillende gemeentelijke gebruikers, zoals de Havenbediencentrale, een evenementenstroompunt en zonnepanelen gemeentelijk vastgoed, maken al gebruik van het net en de slimme bemeting op hoog detailniveau.

         De volgende stap is het verder uitbouwen van het elektriciteitsnet met fysieke en digitale infrastructuur, en de benodigde governance middels een energiecoöperatie waarbinnen de beoogde gebruikers verenigd worden, namelijk de gemeente en enkele strandondernemers. In december 2022 is er daarom een samenwerking met Stedin gesloten om het net ‘semi-autonoom’ te maken, met data-infrastructuur, dashboarding, voorspelmodellen, besturingsmechanismen en beheersoftware. Hiermee willen we de flexibiliteit in het elektriciteitsnet ontsluiten om zo een oplossing te bieden voor transport schaarste op het elektriciteitsnet en duurzame energie opwek beter te integreren in het lokale netwerk. Dit experiment levert belangrijke informatie om tot de realisatie en operationalisatie van dit soort semi-autonome netten te komen, met mogelijkheden tot opschaling over de hele stad én regio waar Stedin actief is, alsmede als voorbeeld voor andere netbeheerders.

         Via deze aanbesteding willen we het leeuwendeel van de digitale infrastructuur en het beheer ervan inkopen voor tijdens de projectperiode tot en met 2025.
