Op 27 september 2022 is realisatie van het project GRONST (groot onderhoud stuwen) aangevangen op basis van een Europese aanbesteding met Mourik Infra BV als opdrachtnemer. De scope van de wijziging betreft het ontwerpen, aanleggen en later verwijderen van een breukstenen dam en daarmee de gehele Poirée kerende werking over te nemen en de jukken volledig te ontlasten.

Het ontwerpen, aanleggen en later verwijderen van een breukstenen dam en daarmee de gehele Poirée kerende werking over te nemen en de jukken volledig te ontlasten.

Description of the economic or technical reasons and the inconvenience or duplication of cost preventing a change of contractor:

De urgente aanleg van de breukstenen dam is vanuit veiligheid bezien noodzakelijk om het project te kunnen voltooien. De aanleg van de breukstenen dam was niet te voorzien en stond niet in de oorspronkelijke aanbestedingsstukken. Daarbij komt dat Mourik Infra BV gegeven de urgentie tijdig kon beschikken over zowel de benodigde breuksteen als over het deels aanwezige (varende)materieel voor de aanleg van de dam en de raakvlakrisico’s tussen de dam en het Poirée-deel van de stuw het beste kan beheersen.
