VII.2.1)Description of the modifications
Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):

Beschrijving van wijziging: VTW 145; Verbetering van en gedurende de resterende contractperiode (ca 21 weken) in stand houden van de tijdelijke verkeersmaatregelen bij de Haringvlietbrug, inclusief flankerende maatregelen op de parallelweg en in de omgeving.

Need for additional works, services or supplies by the original contractor/concessionaire (Art. 43(1)(b) of Directive 2014/23/EU, Art. 72(1)(b) of Directive 2014/24/EU, Art. 89(1)(b) of Directive 2014/25/EU)
Description of the economic or technical reasons and the inconvenience or duplication of cost preventing a change of contractor:

Er is een technisch probleem met de bevestiging van de wegdekplaten van de Haringvlietbrug. Om toch een veilig gebruik van de brug te garanderen wordt ter plaatse tijdelijke een versmald 2-2 systeem toegepast waarbij de maximumsnelheid is verlaagd tot 50 km/u. Dit systeem dient tot aan de renovatie van de brug in stand te worden gehouden.

Een verandering van opdrachtnemer is wegens economische redenen niet mogelijk. Het systeem staat er al. Verandering van opdrachtnemer is verkeerstechnisch (voorzieningen afbreken en weer opbouwen) een gecompliceerde aangelegenheid en zou aanzienlijke risico’s en grote ongemakken en kostenstijgingen met zich mee brengen.
