1. The Government of Nepal has received a credit from the World Bank and allocated budget
towards the cost of Strategic Road Connectivity and Trade Improvement Project (SRCTIP) and
intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for periodic
maintenance of Periodic Maintenance of BP Highway, NH13-004 (from Sindhuli 51.76 km
to Khurkot 73.10 km) length 21.34 KM. Bidding is open to all eligible bidders from all countries
as defined in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, July 2016 (Revised
September 2023).
2. Road Division Khalte invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the Periodic
Maintenance Asphalt Overlay of BP Highway, NH13-004 (from Sindhuli 51.76 km to
Khurkot 73.10 km) length 21.34 KM under National Competitive Bidding – Single Stage Two
Envelope Bidding procedures.
Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:
 Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the last 5 years: NRS 202.90
Millions
 Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: NRS 81161 Thousands
3. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office
of Road Division Khalte, Sindhuli may visit PPMO e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp.
4. Bidder may download the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s e-GP system
www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidder should deposit the cost of bidding document NRs 10,000 in
the Project’s Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below .

5. Electronic bids must be submitted to the office Road Division Khalte through PPMO’s e-GP
system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 12:00 on October 26, 2025. Bids received after
this deadline will be rejected.
6. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders" representatives who choose to attend
immediately after submission deadline at the office of Road Division Khalte,Sindhuli. Bids
must be valid until February 23, 2026 and must be accompanied by a bid security(scanned copy
of the bid security in pdf format) amounting to a minimum of Nrs 32,00,000 which shall be
valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid i.e March 25, 2026 If the last date of
purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall
be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the
same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
