1. The Government of Nepal has received a credit from the World Bank and allocated budget
towards the cost of Strategic Road Connectivity and Trade Improvement Project (SRCTIP) and
intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for periodic
maintenance of a) Birendra Chowk - Bijeneta ( NH09-033, km from 837.74 -857.74), length 20
km, b) Ramri (DB) -Shitalpati ( NH 55-005, km from 63.7 - 71.63), length 7.93 km total length
27.93 km. Bidding is open to all eligible bidders from all countries as defined in the World Bank’s
Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, July 2016 (Revised September 2023).
2. Road Division, Dang invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the Periodic
Maintenance by Surface treatment of a) Birendra Chowk - Bijeneta ( NH09-033, km from
837.74 -857.74), length 20 km, b) Ramri (DB) -Shitalpati ( NH 55-005, km from 63.7 -
71.63), length 7.93 km total length 27.93 km under National Competitive Bidding – Single
Stage Two Envelope Bidding procedures.
Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:
• Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the last 5 years: Rs 85,700,000.00
(85.7 million).
3. Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: Participation as Prime contractor, joint
venture member2management contractor, or subcontractor, in at least One (1) Road
construction/Maintenance Contract within the last ten (10) years, with a value of at least NPR
34,300,000.00 (34.3 million) that have been successfully or are substantially completed and
that are similar to the proposed works. The similarity shall be based on the physical size,
complexity, methods, technology or other characteristics as described in Section VI, Works
Requirements.
4. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office
of [Road Division Dang, Ghorahi, drodng@gmail.com, 082560203] or may visit PPMO e-GP
system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp.
5. Bidder may download the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s e-GP system
www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidder should deposit the cost of bidding document Nrs.5000 in the
Project’s Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below .
Information to deposit the cost of bidding document in Bank:
2 For contracts under which the Bidder participated as a joint venture member or sub-contractor, only the
Bidder’s share, by value, volume, number or rate production of any key activity as appropriate and role and
responsibilities shall be considered to meet the requirements under the Criteria requirements 2.4.2(a) and
2.4.2(b).

6. Electronic bids must be submitted to the office Road Division Dang through PPMO’s e-GP
system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 12:00 on 8th October, 2025 (2082-06-22 BS).
Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
7. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders" representatives who choose to attend at 12:30
Hrs, 8th October, 2025 (2082-06-22 BS) at the office of Road Division Dang, Ghorahi. Bids
must be valid until 4th February, 2026 (2082-10-21 BS) and must be accompanied by a bid
security(scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format) amounting to a minimum of NRs
1,430,000.00, which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid i.e. 6th
March, 2026 (2082-11-22 BS).
8. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next
working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid
security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
