1. The Government of Nepal has received a credit from the World Bank and allocated budget towards
the cost of Strategic Road Connectivity and Trade Improvement Project (SRCTIP) and intends to
apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Periodic maintenance of
Fikkal-Mai Khola ( NH 02-006 km from 86.49-89.49 and 91.56-103.55) length 14.99 km.
Bidding is open to all eligible bidders from all countries as defined in the World Bank’s
Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, July 2016 (Revised September 2023).
2. Road Division Ilam invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the Periodic Maintenance
Asphalt Overlay of Mechi Highway Fikkal-Maikhola Section, length 14.99 KM, under National
Competitive Bidding – Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding procedures.
• Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:
• Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the last 5 years: NRs. 160,000,000.00
• Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: NRs. 64,000,000.00
3. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of
Road Division Ilam, Ilam Nepal, email:- droilam72@gmail.com or may visit PPMO e-GP system
www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp.
4. Bidder may download the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s e-GP system
www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidder should deposit the cost of bidding document NRS. 10,000 in the
Project’s Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below .

5. Electronic bids must be submitted to the office Road Division Ilam through PPMO’s e-GP
system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 12:00 on 2025-10-31. Bids received after this
deadline will be rejected.
6. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders" representatives who choose to attend
immediately after submission deadline at the office of Road Division Ilam. Bids must be valid
until 2026-02-28 (validity period of 120 days after bid opening) and must be accompanied by a bid
security (scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format) amounting to a minimum of NRs.
29,75,000.00 as in Bid Data Sheet ITB 19.1, which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the
validity period of the bid (i.e. 2026-03-30 (150 days from the last date of submission)).
7. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next
working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security
shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
