         Oggetto del presente capitolato è la fornitura ed installazione di un sistema sperimentale completo per spettroscopia NAP-XPS con cella elettrochimica in-operando. Nell"ambito delle batterie redox a flusso, il nuovo macchinario permetterà di migliorare le prestazioni dei dispositivi perché possano essere accoppiati in modo efficiente con fonti rinnovabili di energia, che rendano necessario l’utilizzo di catalizzatori.

         Nell’ambito del progetto MUSA – Multilayered Urban Sustainability Action, Spoke 3 “Deep Tech: Entrepreneurship & Technology Transfer”, WP2, si ritiene necessario l’acquisto macchinario di ultima generazione da usarsi come dimostratore della chimico-fisica di superficie di elettrodi in condizioni simil-ambientali. Particolare attenzione del progetto MUSA è dedicata alle fonti rinnovabili e alla green economy. Tale infrastruttura è finalizzata allo scopo di incrementare la qualità e competitività della ricerca italiana nel campo del riciclo di batterie e nell"ottimizzazione dei catalizzatori. In particolare, la caratterizzazione e la comprensione dei meccanismi di litiazione permetteranno di implementare il processo di “remanufacturing” rispetto a processi idrometallurgici, tipicamente proposti per il recupero delle batterie.
