EFSA is exploring the possibility to launch a call for tender for specialized consultancy services related to cost engineering of EFSA outsourcing projects, including salary benchmarking as well as the estimation of the effort required for certain scientific, data management and IT activities within EFSA’s domain.

In view of the possible launch of the procurement procedure, EFSA intends to collect information from the market via a survey. The aim of the survey is to identify providers with the necessary expertise and experience to provide insight on cost engineering services, including salary benchmarking studies, as well as ad hoc consulting services in the broader domain of remuneration of scientific services. Interested providers are encouraged to respond to the survey available at https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/CostEngineeringServices. The deadline for receiving responses is extended to 15 October 2023.
